We wouldn't want the Thai people having any possibility of... well informed opinion or knowledge, would we, so best ban thinking and speech. What's that saying? "Ignorance is bliss".
But is ignorance really so wonderful and worth striving for? Why is the possibility of knowledge so threatening? To whom?
My suspicion is that it's the ignorant, worthless opinions that this sort of irrational nonsense forces on Thai citizens that is a major cause of the current divisions in society.
i bet if they'd made a pro (in power) party film, they would even promote is as a "work of art"
